Is your lake a "ski lake"?. Check out my article on what defines ski lakes for my take on it. It can be an easy question to answer for large and small lakes alike.

But if you live on a lake that might be considered a "tweener" lake, then probably the easiest way to answer this is to ask yourself -
"Do folks now or did they ever ski on this lake on a regular basis?"

If it is a skiable lake, it should be marketed as such. If it is too small to be used as a ski lake, then it can be marketed as a great fishing lake, or sightseeing lake, or kayaking lake etc
